Our church encourages the inclusion of our children in all that we do from Sunday school to taking communion in service. Our love for our children is reflected in our parents, teachers, and assistants.  What does this mean for us? It means that we have a policy in place that takes measures to ensure the safety of our children, youth, and adults in respect to any kind of abuse. All of our adults have passed a background check and as of this year, our conference requires that all volunteers submit to abackground check as well as training in Ministry Safe. We will also be conducting quarterly training for all leaders and teachers in regards to new rules and regulations as well as some training in new games, programs, and curriculum available to our church that will keep us up to date with the latest tools. |
 Our Vision The vision of FUMC Kaufman is to see all children actively participating in Sunday school and Wednesday night activities. Through the study of Jesus Christ and reading God's Word through the scripture will our children begin to have a relationship with Christ. The foundation will be set for the continued study in Junior High and High School. With a well laid foundation, our children will grow up and continue to seek God's guidance throughout their lives. Our Mission Our mission is to bring God's word to life. To teach our children through whatever means are available. The Bible, music, worship, arts, and crafts are but a few. Our children learn through doing, not just from hearing about the Word of God. |
